Men’s Club Mission Statement

The mission of Congregation Ahavat Olam’s Men’s Club is, “to promote the fundamental and enduring principles of Judaism, to promote Jewish-based fellowship through religious, cultural, social, recreational and educational activities, and to support and promote the activities and financial needs of Congregation Ahavat Olam.” However, the Men’s Club is so much more than this simple mission statement. These are not just words, but rather a goal of all members to make the Congregation Ahavat Olam Men’s Club strong, vibrant, and constantly growing.

The purpose of the CAO Men’s Club is to help members develop strong ties to the Shul and the community through giving, programming, volunteering, and attending events that benefit the club and the community. The Men’s Club is committed to the strength, success and future of the synagogue and community. We do this by providing programs throughout the year designed to engage men, women, couples and families in Shul life.

Our men (and many of their spouses) gather once a month usually on the second Sunday of the month to share breakfast and hear from engaging speakers. We gather for barbecues and social action projects and other community events. And most importantly, we enjoy each other’s company.

The CAO’s Men’s Club is open to all our Shul members, whether they are Jews by birth, Jews by choice, or simply exploring the options that Judaism has to offer. All men 18 and over are welcome to join the CAO’s Men’s Club!
